Sunny Loh
Sunny is driven with a vison of seeing individuals having healthy emotions and mental wellness as well as families living in harmony and vibrancy.
He is a strong believer that the core essence of counselling is undergirded by empathy, sincerity and unconditional positive regard. These beliefs and his vision underpin his counselling approaches with his clients. For him, this makes a critical difference in how far a counsellor can effectively reach out to clients and help them in their journey of recovery.
Sunny has wide experience in family and youth work as well as attending to individuals with mental and emotional issues. His rigorous training in TCA for his Masters in Counselling as well as other post-graduate courses have equipped him with relevant clinical skills. This, together with his life experiences, enables him to utilise a myriad of intervention techniques in attending to clients - particularly helpful in a culturally diverse society.
Other than running his own clinic, Sunny is also the Associate Family Counselor at Gladiolus Place (a Girls’ Shelter) as well as a Counselor (pro-bono) at Catholic Family Life. In addition, he helps out as a Counselor at The Helping Hand and partners Singapore Youth for Christ in offering counselling services.
Sunny also volunteers in FamChamps, a youth movement of Focus on the Family that raises youths who believe in and champion Family.
